Upsurge of crime in Edo: Use whatever means to stop it, Oba of Benin tells palace chiefs

Recent upsurge in the cases of kidnapping and armed robbery I’m Edo State has attracted the condemnation of the Palace of the Benin Monarch.
In a meeting of Chiefs and Enigie presided over by the Iyase of Benin, Chief Sam Igbe, at the instance of the Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare the second, the Iyase expressed disgust and indignation of the Palace over the unwarranted spades of kidnapping and other act of criminality ravaging Edo State.
Challenging the Chiefs and Enigie on the need to rise to the occasion, through whatever means, the Iyase posited that it is imperative to join forces to tackle this menace, that is threatening the very fabrics of our existence as a people.
He emphasized that as leaders, the Chiefs and Enigie must evolve an enduring solution to this mindless situation.
