Top broadcaster, Bimbo Oloyede loses husband

One of Nigeria’s celebrated broadcasters, Bimbo Oloyede, is bereaved. She lost her hubby, Chief Tunde Oloyede, on Monday after a brief illness.

He died at his Festac, Lagos, home at the age of 70. Sources said bimbo, who is a descendant of Herbert Macaulay family and a leading newscaster at channels Television, was really shattered by her husband’s death.

Oloyede was the former President of ITPAN, producer and foremost director of the popular Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) series, the village Headmaster, among several other productions.

Until his death, he ran his own production outfit, known as Media International Production.
