Tiwa Savage the reigning queen Of Afropop

The music industry is filled with female artistes all over, they have been doing greatly and releasing good music making fans thrill over them. Their songs and videos have been fabulous and interesting both the ones they sang alone and the ones they feature other artistes.

However this year has been great with our female artistes, they have been hardworking and industrious, Artistes like Yemi Alade, Simi, Niniola, Tiwa Savage, Sheyi Shay and many more. They all had great hits this year which shows they were ready for it.

Simi did a great job this year with her songs and dropping her album titled Simisola, she rocked with the way she sings and her voice wow amazing. Niniola on the other hand did greatly in her music video Maradona and got so many likes from fans.
Yemi Alade with her African style banged the music industry with songs too good to let go and Sheyi Shey came with her unbelievable African style of song which she titled Yolo Yolo which made her popular.

Today its all about Tiwa savage, the mavin queen who is also under Rock Nation Owned by Jay Z. Right from the very day she broke out with her song Kele Kele Love she has been on top till date. Tiwa has never been quiet or down ever since she joined the music industry.
She was signed by Mavin Boss Don Jazzy and that made her more popular and excelled in so many ways. Apart from her style of music, Tiwas beautiful voice and gorgeous body has been fabulous right from the start.

Even when she got married fans were expecting a break from her but she surprised with her mind blowing tracks which got everyone surprised. Although she is a mother now, that did not change anything or her type of music.

This was actually the song that brough her to limelight, Her moves and voice and also the lyrics got people’s attention and everyone wanted to know her. She sang the song like a foreigner although she mixed the lyrics with Pidgin “ I no do kele kele no kele kele love o Ma se mi be yen baby mi o ) that did not still matter because it was cool, slow but hiphop song with cool meaning which is Playful love and since the release of this song Tiwa has been on top with one dope music to another.
Wanted

This song might have taken all the buzz, but lets not take away anything from the song Wanted, Off her debut album once upon a time, It’s a pretty dope track with a slow reggae vibe to it. Her sensual moves in the song made it interesting and her dress code was something else. The lyrics( There is nothing you can do, that’s why I stay wanted ) is something you should listen to so as to understand it. Although the song brought a lot of controversies for her but that did not stop her from progressing. She still went on in releasing more good tracks and getting fans all over the world.
Don’t leave without my heart

The song which she featured her boss Don Jazzy stormed the clubs making people dance to it. Her voice and Don Jazzy voice blended and gave the music a good flow. Tiwa proves that she can take it to another realm as she delivers a lovely and unique performance on the instrumental. Don Jazzy also did wonder on his verse and add solid value to the tracks. She sang the song like it was a foreign song if not for the pidgin Don Jazzy added on his part. Although Most of her fans wished she never featured Don Jazzy while some think it’s a copied beat but all the same she did a great collaboration with Don Jazzy.

Ife Wa Gbona
Our love is strong meaning Ife Wa Gbona in Yoruba language. This love song gave Leo Wonder the opportunity to showcase to the world his amazing voice. They both did a great job in using the Yoruba attire making it look like a movie in the village. Right from the beginning to the end they both rocked. The song was a slow song with good lyrics, great background and cool attire. Leo Wonder gave it a nice touch with his Yoruba part mixed with English and the video was understandable.
My Darling
Tiwa Savage released My darling amidst controversy on her marital life to which she has remained silent on acclaiming and reaffirming her affection for the one she loves. The danceable joint samples the vocals of Mavin Boss, Don Jazzy and was jointly produced alongside his prodigy Baby Fresh. The gown she wore was beautiful and flashy in the video, The video was a bit funny especially at the beginning where she had to disguise herself as an Old woman. Tiwa’s makeup artiste did a good job on her face making her look more beautiful and fresh. Everything in the video is just amazing.This is one love song that will always be remembered.
Bad

Star boy Wizzy got this song going with his amazing voice and dope dress code, and tiwa killed it with her romantic moves and cool dress code. The video is good and tiwa savage and her moves on a power bike made it classic. The lyrics is understandable, the background is cool
Eminado

Tiwa Savage and Don Jazzy again on this one with their funny love song. Although the song got everyone wondering on the meaning of its tittle, but till today there has been no meaning to it. But still the song is a wonderful. The directing was great and the video was cool and a bit funny. Tiwa had a thing with this song that attracts both the kids and adults to it. Eminado is a song for all and it is easy to learn.
Standing Ovation

Wow! Wow!Wow! This is one song that till today will never go down, the street dance, the crazy dress code, the background and style in short everything about this video is superb. It even got extremely good with baddo featuring in it and this made the song more popular and interesting. Standing Ovation got millions of likes and views, It also got on the number one hiphop song on the top ten best Nigeria song last year. Baddo also killed it with his Yoruba part and Tiwa also with her Yoruba part as well. The Lyrics from Baddo “ Are you not entertained simple Yes or No” reigned that period. The video was shot in the street and that made it a street song.
All Over

Great dance steps, beautiful background, nice cinematography and lovely hairstyle. Tiwa’s All over has given her much love and respect. Her hairstyle in the video, got girls copying and making the same style. All over is a love song but in a dancing way, Tiwa’s voice can never be compared, she is incredible. The video has been trending since the first day it was released till date. The likes keeps on increasing and the views also.

Even her Baby (Jam Jam) Loves the song according to her Instagram post. All Over Lyrics “ Na because of you wey I get goose bumps All Over” is really cool and easy to learn as well. It is interesting and is still getting more likes till date both in other countries. Although her dress code was condemned by few fans but some did not bother.

The new EP, Sugarcane. It’s dripping with love tunes that are honeyed with Tiwa’s dulcet vocals over six tracks, she sings in breezy harmonies and riffs while alternating between English and Yoruba. It also features Afropop stars like Wizkid and Maleek Berry. Tiwa has really been hardworking despite the fact that she is married with a child she still made sure she entertains her fans.
