Tinubu, Osoba, Akiolu, others grace Lagos Jazz Festival

National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and his wife Senator Oluremi Tinubu; the former of governor of Ogun State, Chief Olusegun Osoba; Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu; former governor of Cross-River State, Mr. Donald Duke and Senator Gbenga Ashafa were among dignitaries that graced the Lagos international Jazz Festival hosted last weekend by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.
In replicating the celebration held at the Freedom Park in Lagos, the governor hosted the crème de la crème of the society in a star-studded concert held at the Lagos House, Ikeja.
buThe event tagged ‘Evening of Jazz with Governor Ambode’ was marked in commemoration of the International Jazz Day officially designated on April 30th by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
Ambode explained that the objectives of the event was to highlight jazz and its diplomatic role of uniting people across the globe.
He also explained that Lagos International Jazz Day was carefully tailored to showcase the tourism potentials of the state to the world.
