Tielemans denies Mourinho’s contact

Anderlecht midfielder Youri Tielemans has dismissed claims that Jose Mourinho has called him to discuss a potential transfer to Manchester United. Former Anderlecht youngster Lukasz Plonowski suggested earlier this week that Tielemans had told him the United manager had been in touch, but the 19-year-old has now made it clear there is no truth in any such claims. The Belgium U-21 star has a contract with the Brussels giants until June 2020.
Watford confirm Suarez loan move
Watford have allowed the departure of Spanish midfielder Mario Suarez on a season-long loan to Valencia. He was a non-fixture in Watford’s 1-1 draw with Southampton on the weekend, with manager Walter Mazzarri preferring Valon Behrami as the deep-lying midfielder. Suarez will be at Valencia until at least June 2017, with the La Liga side having an option to purchase the player for an undisclosed fee, upon the initial deal’s expiration.
Clucas signs new Hull deal
Sam Clucas has pledged his future to Hull by signing a new three-year contract with the club. The 25-year-old midfielder joined Hull from Chesterfield last summer and helped the Tigers win promotion back to the Premier League via the Championship play-offs in May. Clucas scored six times in 52 appearances for Hull during his debut season at the KCOM Stadium and caretaker manager Mike Phelan is delighted the former Mansfield and Hereford man has committed his future to the club.
