Singer Waje joins cast of Telenovela, Battleground

Singer and songwriter, Waje has joined the cast of popular M-net Telenovela, Battleground as she is expected to play the role of Anu Sobowale, a fun and energetic character.

In a statement by Waje’s media team, Buki HQ, more should be expected from the One Naira singer.

“It’s exciting watching Waje step out of her persona and assumes a new one for television, and you can expect a masterful balance of pure joy, energy, and sass as she brings Anu Sobowale to life. It’s a television series you absolutely don’t want to miss,” the statement reads.

Battleground, a family drama that traffics in relationships, betrayals, infidelity, politics and romance with over 100 episodes, will be showcasing the acting abilities of Waje as she plays the character of Anu on the telenovela.
