Shittu shares Buhari/Osinbajo 2019 campaign cap at FEC

The Minister for Communications, Alhaji Adebayo Shittu, before the opening of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the State House, Abuja, on Wednesday, disributed campaign fez caps with the inscription, “Continuity ’19: Muhammadu Buhari/Osinbajo.”

This development came barely 24 hours after former President Olusegun Obasanjo advised President Muhammadu Buhari not to seek re-election in 2019.

Shittu, who is also the South West Campaign Coordinator for the re-election campaign of President Muhammadu Buhari was behind the production of the caps.

The Minister handed them over in a ‘Ghana-must-go’ bag to the officers of the Cabinet Office at the Council Chamber to distribute to the Ministers in attendance while he wore one.

Shittu is aspiring to contest the governorship election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo State but is having a running battle with his state governor, Abiola Ajimobi.
