School threatens to drag Delta Chief Judge to NJC

A privately owned school, Explosive Academy, Erho Abraka in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, has issued a seven-day ultimatum to the Delta State Chief Judge, Justice Marshal Mukoro, with a threat to drag him before the National Judicial Council (NJC) Abuja over alleged negligence to duty and conspiracy against Delta State children.

The letter was delivered to Justice Marshal Mukoro at the HIgh Court of Justice, Okpanam Road, Asaba on the 18th May, 2017 through the Nigerian Postal Service, NIPOST EMS Asaba with tracking Number EE328902745NG.

In a statement signed and made available to Daily Times, the proprietor of the school, Mr. Ighorhiohwunu Aghogho, said, “this is to officially notify the office of the Chief Judge of Delta State of my intention to drag the Chief Judge of Delta State, Justice Marshal Mukoro, before the National Judicial Council Abuja on the following salient issues which are incontrovertible.

“The information on the names of the family court members of Delta State.

“The information regarding the appointment details of the family court members of Delta State

“Information on the location of the family courts of Delta State

“The information on case(s) currently being handled and determined by the family courts of Delta State.

“Information on the missing adoption register where the Delta State judiciary was specifically mentioned to be in custody of it

“The application of the criminal justice system on Delta State children

“The granting of adoption order to children who are victims of child trafficking”.

“Impersonation of prospective adopters in court by the Delta State Ministry of Women Affairs

“The mass recruitment of Delta State children into child labor, cultism, prostitution and destitution

“The non existence of the Delta State family court”

“Non implementation of the Delta State child right law.”

Going further, Aghogho stated that he has written repeatedly to the office of the Delta State Chief Judge on the subject matter because of the daily child trafficking, abduction, criminalization in the form of cultism and gross exploitation of children which has become an occupation of some stake holders in the state.
