#Saturday’s election2019: Reps member elect accuses Lalong of already been with result sheet
A House of Representative member elected on the just concluded NASS election under Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency , Dachom Bagos, has alleged that the All Progressive Congress (APC), and Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau state is already with the result of Saturday’s election.
Bagos said the social media awashed with the result sheet of yet to be conducted election, adding that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), will resist any move by the ruling party to manipulate the governorship and the state assembly polls.
The member elect who spoke in Jos while briefing Journalists warned the APC not to repeat the alleged rigging of election perpetrated during the Local Government polls in the state held last year.
“We are warning the APC not to cheat in the Saturday’s governorship election. We have seen results sheets flying on social media and we cannot keep quite about it.
“We have lost confidence on the ability of the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC), to conduct a free and fair election given the out come of the presidential election which recorded a lot of cancellation from the PDP stronghold”.
Bagos also said that the APC has perfected plans with the federal government to deploy Military personnel to the state during the polls, saying that Plateau is not at war and wondered why security operatives from Abuja will be deployed to beef up the state.
“During the many killings in various parts of the state, Military were not deployed to prevent the wanton killings, but because they want to win election, the state government has perfected plans to deploy Military in other to intimidate voters”, he said.
