The statement reads, “Hon. Hamzat has a political background that can make him to add tremendous value to the next government as his father was part of those that built the progressive politics of Lagos.
Hamzat himself was actively involved in grassroots politics even as he is a thoroughbred professional and scholar.
”
The group added that the party leadership should be applauded for the choice as Hamzat would be the face of the Justice Forum in the government.
They stressed that Sanwo-Olu would perform beyond people’s expectations because of his public and private experience, saying that Hamzat’s technical know-how would assist Sanwo-Olu in delivering greatest happiness in the greatest number of the people.
“It is obvious that the Lagos APC and its leadership mean well for Lagosians with this combination. Mr Sanwo-Olu is a right choice as governorship candidate and Mr Hamzat remains the perfect running mate to make the actualisation of ‘Greater Lagos’ achievable”
“We, therefore, eulogise the political prowess of the National Leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in grooming dependable leaders across board since 1999”
The group, however, urged Lagos voters to come out enmasse to cast their votes for all APC candidates in the coming 2019 general elections.
The statement concluded “We urge Lagos voters to cast their votes for all APC candidates from National to the State level”
