Sallah : Emir intensify pray for Buhari’s recovery

The Emir of Wase, Alhaji Sambo Mohammed, during the Durbar show, an annual activity to mark the Edl Fitri celebration, took out time to pray for the speedy recovery of President Mohammadu Buhari.
The Emir said it has become even more imperative for the President to recover and return to the country as his presence will douse the attention emanating from different agitators who are seeking to tire the country apart.
He commended the government on the reign of peace in the country, especially the North East region where insurrection and insurgency have been defeated and normalcy restored, adding that government should intensify in providing infrastructure in the area to uplift the standard of socio-economic interactions in them area.
The royal father also called on the authorities to take keener interest in the distribution of fertilizer to check the activities of saboteurs, so as to ensure that the farmers receive the fertilizer as intended by the government to boost agricultural production and food supply in the country.
He however used the occasion of the Sallah Durbar to also pay a courtesy call on the Caretaker Committee chairman of Wase local government council to identify with the good work he has carried out so far.
Responding, the Chairman expressed appreciation for the Royal visit, describing the occasion as “auspicious and encouraging “.
The occasion also witnessed a cultural fraternization visit by the Ponzhi Zhini of Taroh from Langtang.
Also at the occasion was the Minister of Youth and Sport, Barrister Solomon Dalung, to join the Muslim faithful in observing the Sallah Durbar.
The Minister also used the opportunity to present economic empowerment forms to the Emir for onward distribution to the youths of the area.
