The hardworking politician who has covered himself in glory with quality representation in the Nigerian House of Representatives had a reason to celebrate a few days ago. Hon. Osoba completed another trip around the sun in fine style. Expectedly, the milestone calls for celebration because it comes once in a year.
And Hon. Osoba reflecting on his life journey so far couldn’t be more happier. Indeed, the Lord has been faithful to Hon. Osoba. And, he’s thankful for the gift called life. Known for his business-like approach to issues, Hon. Osoba took time out of his busy engagements to celebrate his birthday.
Hon. Osoba, who is one of prominent federal lawmakers from Ogun State has proved to be a refreshing breath of air in the Nigerian political landscape. A son of the the respected former governor of Ogun State, Chief Olusegun Osoba, the younger Osoba has shown repeatedly that he is capable of surpassing his father’s political successes. In all fairness, he is on the right track, building on his father’s legacy while creating his own footsteps in the Ogun political terrain.
Described as a servant-leader, Hon. Osoba has carved a niche for himself as one of the few politicians genuinely committed to the socio-economic betterment of the their communities. Hon. Osoba has demonstrated through his track record that he is in the House of Representatives for just one thing – to protect the interest of the good people of Abeokuta North/Odeda/Obafemi-Owode Federal Constituency. He has done a lot in the area of infrastructural development.

His many interventions include reconstruction of primary health care centres, provision and construction of solar-powered street lights, boreholes, provision of education materials and reconstruction of block of classrooms and so much more.
Not the type to make unnecessary noise in the media, Hon. Osoba is quietly lifting his constituents out of poverty. Recently, he distributed cash grants of N100, 000 to 800 members of his constituency. The initiative is aimed at offering financial support to hundreds of artisans in his constituency. Expectedly, Hon. Osoba was surrounded by love and loved ones on his special day and goodwill messages and heartfelt messages poured in from across the world to celebrate the man fondly known as the people’s representative.
