Real estate summit set attract resource persons from Nigeria, Ghana, S’Africa, others

Leading real estate firms from Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa and the United Arab Emirate are among the over 400 operators in the sector that are expected at the 2017 Nigeria Real Summit Expo, holding in Lagos, beginning from September 19.
According to the head of the Summit’s Organising Committee, Mr. Steve Ike, the event would host critical players in the sector.
Themed: “Collaborating, innovating and growing to achieve adequate and affordable housing delivery in Nigeria”, the expo, which is the second to be held, would deepen on-going discussions, stimulate measuresable actions and provide the most inclusive and sweeping answers to the housing issues in Nigeria.
According to the organizers, stakeholders would discuss issues such as, land, infrastructure, housing finance, policy and strategy and technology.
Also, the summit would examine the various opportunities in the sector, including marketing strategy, investment potential for developers, governments at all levels agencies, etc.
According to Ike, “Policy makers, investors, professionals in the built industry, banking and capital market players would form part of the discussants at the summit.”
He said, “The housing finance, a major discourse at the summit, would be structured around key subject matters, ranging from the possibilities of public- private partnerships to unlocking hidden potential to the challenges of funding the mortgage portfolio, etc,” he said.
