Political ATM closed: Wike’s aide mocks Ugochinyere over Rivers ‘alawee’

The FCT Minister’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, has mocked Hon. Imo Ugochinyere, accusing him of grieving lost financial benefits from Rivers State and seeking another “Political ATM” to exploit.
He described Ugochinyere’s outcry as a desperate attempt to regain lost “alawee” (pocket money), urging him to “cry less” and find another “mugun” (victim) to exploit as a “Political ATM.”
Olayinka, in a statement issued yesterday in Abuja, labeled Ugochinyere a “political hushpuppi,” alleging that he profited from an illegal local government structure in Rivers State created under the Action Peoples Party (APP).
“As a political hushpuppi that he is, it is normal for Ugochinyere to cry over the dismantling of a fraudulent local government structures that he used his party, Action Peoples Party (APP) to produce in Rivers State.
“From the illegal Council Chairmen, we know how many billions of Naira he has collected, and this has come to an end. He must cry,” Olayinka said.

The FCT Minister’s aide was responding to Ugochinyere’s comments during a live television program, where he claimed to represent an opposition coalition.
Olayinka dismissed these claims, insisting that Ugochinyere should “stop lying to the public about a non-existing opposition group” and “tell Nigerians the House of Representatives members that are part of his Yahoo Yahoo Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP).
“Ugochinyere once said, the Speaker of Rivers State House of Assembly, Martins Ameawhule won’t ever see the Rivers State Budget. He was everywhere, boasting that the Assembly members are gone and nothing in this life will bring them back.
“But today, as Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State, who is the victim of Ugochinyere’s Yahoo Yahoo politics is already seeing spirits, the reality of the end of free flow of Alawee is dawning on him, reason he was on live television, shouting like a wounded goat,” Olayinka said.
While insisting that Governor Fubara was not ready for peace and governance in accordance with the laws, Olayinka asked when a governor started going to the House of Assembly uninvited.
He said “the Governor is only playing to the gallery and creating contents for social media. If not, shouldn’t he know that the proper thing to do was for him to have written to the Speaker, and wait for a response as to when to come for the budget presentation?
“Of course, the governor should know. But the moment you have a man like Ugochinyere, who is not ashamed of doing anything, including being a wife, to get money, as your main adviser, you can even carry budget on your head to Rumuokoro Market to go and give to the Speaker’s wife.”
