Police goes after cultists who set police station ablaze

The Imo State Police Command has ordered immediate arrest of hoodlums and cultists who on attacked and set the Otoko police station in the Obowo Local Government Area of Imo State ablaze.

The State Commissioner of Police, Rabiu Ladodo, who visited the scene of the incident some minutes after the attack ordered the arrest of all the suspects.

An eye witness account stated that the hoodlums suspected to be cultists attacked policemen on duty at the station and made away with no fewer than four firearms.

The incident caused pandemonium in the area as residents scampered for safety.

According to them “Otoko Police Station in Obowo Local Government Area of Imo State was set on fire by cultists probably in their devilish attempt to cart away firearms.”
