Police Declares Man Wanted After Invading Home of Ex-wife, Fires Gunshots
The Ogun State Command of the Nigerian Police has declared wanted one Mr. Idris Kolawole,, a notorious cult member, after he reportedly invaded the home of his ex-wife with the intent to commit murder, it was confirmed
A statement by the Ogun State Command of the Nigerian Police stated that Idris Kolawole (ex-husband) had been separated from his ex-wife since 2022 after she filed for divorce but persistently was seeking for resolution of the cracks in their relationship.
His ex-wife was said to have secretly remarried in May 2024 and Mr. Idris would later extend his frustration to the new home of his ex-wife at no.17 Unity drive, Oluyole extension, Oyo state on November 29th 2024 where he invaded her privacy and attacked his pregnant ex-wife and her husband, it was gathered.
The threats from Mr. Idris was reported at the police station with no arrest made, it was confirmed.
However, following the severity of the threats from Mr.Idris, his ex-wife and her new husband relocated to his family house at no.1 Kazeem Street, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State where Mr.Idris again on December 23rd 2024 maliciously attacked and invaded the family house during the Christmas festive season, an eyewitness added .
The eyewitness, who pleaded anonymity, claimed that Mr. Idris Kolawole maliciously attacked and invaded the family house of his ex-wife who were away for the Christmas celebration as it was said that he fired sporadic gunshots at the door to gain access to the apartment with malicious intent to commit murder.
Meanwhile, the statement by the Ogun State Command of the Nigerian Police stated that it has commenced investigation into the case of a violent attack and Invasion of the home of Mrs. Nimotali Kazeem at no.1 Kazeem Street where one Mr. Idris Kolawole reportedly fired sporadic gunshots at the door to gain access to the apartment with the malicious intent to commit murder.
The statement added that while concerted efforts are underway to apprehend the fleeing Mr. Idris whose whereabouts is unknown to anyone, the Command has declared him wanted for invasion of privacy with the malicious intent to commit murder.
