Police declares fleeing man wanted over murder of father-in-law as thugs gun down Jude Egbedion

The Edo State Command of the Nigerian Police has reportedly declared one Lucky Ebosetale Egbedion who on June 15th 2022 caused the murder of his father-In law Mr.Anthony Owobu after he violently pushed him to the ground and died during a violent confrontation involving his family and 3 suspected cultists.

Recall that Anthony and his deceased wife adopted two girls namely Favour and Queen from a hospital in Benin City when it was practically impossible for them to bear their children for several years.

It was gathered that Anthony after the death of his wife turned Favour at age 14 into his sex slave over the years .

Following her marriage to Lucky Ebosetale Egbedion, Favour became exposed to violent threats from her foster father as a result of mounting pressure to send her to Italy for prostitution but she refused .

On June 15th 2022 tragedy however struck when Mr.Anthony Owobu came with 3 thugs to Favour Ehizofua Egbedion matrimonial home at no.2 Oboh lane off old Irrua road Idunmu-Agbala Egbele Uromi to forcefully take her away and compel her to embark on the risky trip to Italy for prostitution but was confronted by Lucky, as a bloody violent fight thereafter broke out.

An eyewitness account who pleaded anonymity said the thugs shot sporadically killing Jude Egbedion, elder brother of Lucky who died on the spot as Lucky attempted to stop his father-In law from leaving with his wife by violently pushing him to the ground and instantly he passed on.

The thugs sensing the enormity of the violence that was unfolding, according to the eyewitness, unleashed further terror on Lucky and his wife who was in coma as she was later hospitalized at an undisclosed health facility for treatment.

Meanwhile, the two corpses were later taken away by the police to a nearby mortuary where they were deposited while investigation into the murder case commenced.

A statement by the Edo State Command of the Nigerian Police made available to journalists in Benin City stated that it had launched a manhunt for one Lucky Ebosetale Egbedion and 3 thugs whose identity are yet to be confirmed over the murder of a middle-aged man identified as Anthony Owobu and one Jude Egbedion .

It further added that anyone with useful information that could lead to the arrest of the fleeing murder suspects should please report at the nearest police station.

However, confirmed reports in the community revealed that the thugs are still on the trail of Lucky Ebosetale Egbedion and his wife whose whereabouts still remain unknown to anyone.
