We’re perfect against Lobi—llechukwu

Mountain of Fire Miracles Ministries (MFM) FC head coach, Fidelis llechukwu has said his side got their acts perfectly right against top-flight side, Lobi Stars.

The Olukoya Boys whiplashed the Pride of Benue 4-0 in Sunday’s Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) matchday 3 clash at the Agege Township Stadium in Lagos.

Hat-trick hero, Stephen Odey and Beninoise import, Giscard Tchato goals proved adequate to hand the Lagos outfit their second home victories of the on-going top-flight.

llechukwu said his side will avoid the error that saw them win their first home match against Niger Tornadoes only to go down poorly at FC IfeanyiUbah when they face Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) on Wednesday in Ibadan.

“I’m happy, the team and fans are quite excited with the heart-warming victory against Lobi Stars.

“Nobody was happy with the midweek loss at Nnewi to FC IfeanyiUbah and today (Sunday) we got our act and momentum right against a traditional side like Lobi Stars.

“We are celebrating but we hope to cut short the celebration to concentrate fully on Wednesday game at Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) in Ibadan.

“We are not going to further lose focus or fall the way we did at FC IfeanyiUbah after a good start against Niger Tornadoes.
“We are certainly going to stabilse with this hard fought win against Lobi Stars in our subsequent matches,” said llechukwu to supersport.com.

MFM FC have nipped six points from possible nine in the three-week old Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
