Ondo election: Zamfara governor salutes Akeredolu

Governor of Zamfara State and Chairman Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Hon Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, has congratulated the Governor-elect of Ondo State, Chief Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on his victory in the Saturday, November 26 governorship election in Ondo State.
Governor of Zamfara State and Chairman Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Hon Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, has congratulated the Governor-elect of Ondo State, Chief Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on his victory in the Saturday, November 26 governorship election in Ondo State. Govermor Yari who described the conduct of the election as peaceful, well organised, orderly and credible, also congratulated the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof Mohmoud Yakub, Chairman of the APC, Chief John Oyegun, the Chairman of the Campaign Committee, Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State and all party faithful who put in their efforts, courage and doggedness to bring about the success for the flag bearer.
The Governor also saluted the courage of the the people of Ondo and the orderly manner with which they conducted themselves during the electoral processes He called on the people to support the new Gov Chief Rotimi Akeredolu, in order to benefit more from the chain of democratic dividends of his administration planned for them.
He also commended the security agencies and the voters for the peaceful and successful conduct of the elections. Gov Yari therefore calls on the Governor-Elect to carry everybody along in his leadership, so as to unit the different interest groups in the state polity for easy governance and to bring about the desired development of the state.
He prayed Allah (SWT) to guide and protect the new Gov as he prepares to choose his team.
