Okorocha mourns death of state customary court of appeal president

Imo state governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has expressed shock over the death of the president of the state’s Customary Court of Appeal, Justice P. I. Okpara, who died after a brief illness.

Okorocha, who spoke through his media aide, Mr. Sam Onwuemeodo, in a statement on Thursday, regretted the death of Justice Okpara saying that he died at the time when his services, both to the people of the state, the bench and the bar, are mostly needed.

The governor said the state government would liaise with the family to give him a befitting burial he deserves.The governor extended his Condolences to the heads and staff of all the departments of the Judicial arm in the State, over the demise of the great jurist.

He urged the people of the state to pray for the family of the late judge and prayed God to give them the heart to bear the great loss.
