Ohaneze holds Igbo unity forum in Owerri

The pan-Igbo Socio-Cultural organisation, Ohaneze Ndigbo is organising Igbo Unity Forum in Owerri with the caption “NDIGBO AND THE STATE OF THE NATION: PROSPECTS AND CHALLENGES”.

A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, Mr. Sam Onwuemeodo, said that the event would take place on Thursday, July 14, 2016, at the International Convention Centre (IICC), Owerri, at 2 p.m.

The event would be attended by other South East Governors –Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu State) Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia State), Dr. Willie Obiano (Anambra State), and Dr. Dave Umahi (Ebonyi State).

The statement said that the former governor of old Anambra state Senator Jim Ifeanyichukwu Nwobodo was expected to be the chairman of the occasion, while Commodore Ebitu Ukiwe would be the Special Guest of Honour Professor Anya O. Anya would  be the Guest Speaker.
