Ogenyi Onazi pays tribute to ‘Legendary’ Miroslav Klose

The Trabzonspor midfielder has paid his tribute to his former Lazio teammate who retires at the end of the 2015-16 season
Super Eagles‘s midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has paid his respect to Miroslav Klose who hangs his boots as Germany‘s all-time topscorer after he announcing his retirement from football to end his 29-year old career.
Klose who recorded 71 goals in 137 appearnces for the Die Mannschaft and also owns the record for the most goals in the World Cup with 16 goals, called up his time in active football as he eyes a coaching role in the German national team.
Onazi who spent four years alongside the 38-year old at the Stadio Olimpico before leaving for Trabzonspor in the summer recalled moments spent together with the German legend including the Coppa Italia triumph in the 2012-13 season.
“It was a great privilege playing along side with you legend as you say farewell to active football #miroslavklose,” Onazi posted on Instagram.
