Obiano’s Football Tournament reaches final stage
The ongoing Governor Willie Obiano’s Football Tournament has reached the final stages for both the female and male categories.
The competition which kicked off three weeks ago has seen four Local Government Areas emerge from the preliminary stages into the final stages.
Following the charge by Obiano, the soccer fiesta is being organised by the Ministry of Youth Entrepreneur and Sports Development to re-ignite the spirit of oneness among Ndi Anambra.
The final matches will hold on Friday, January 8, for both male and female categories.
The final match for the female teams is between Awka South and Ekwusigo LGAs holding by 11am, while that of the male teams is between Ihiala and Anaocha LGAs which will kick off by 1pm at Chuba Ikpeazu Stadium.
