Nigerians urged to return to God, live in peace

Nigerians have been urged to rededicate themselves to the service of God and continue to live in peace with one another. The call was made in Lagos, on Thursday, by Chairman of Ojokoro Division of Cherubim & Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria, Rev. Dr. Babatunde Adetayo, while welcoming participants to the second Annual General Conference of the division.

According to Adetayo, “One of the bane of the country is lack of trust among Nigerians especially practitioners of various religions in the country. What I have found out is that there is need for education on true worshipping of God which many are lacking. That is why we tend to fight among ourselves because we do not have in-depth understanding of God.”
Guest Speaker at the conference, His Grace Stephen Adeoye, in his paper titled “The Hill Which God Desireth To Dwell” enjoined  Christians, especially those in political offices, to remain focused in the discharge of their assigned responsibilities and refrain from acts capable of tarnishing the image of the Church.

Present at the event were Her Grace Christiana Olubunmi Obisanya of Agbala Iwosan C&S Church, Primate Oyewola of Golden Wonderful C&S Church and other men and women of God.
