Nigerians charges to shun corruption
In tune with President Muhammadu Buhari campaign against corruption, Nigerians have been urged to have a change of attitude and shun every form of corrupt practices.
The Senior Pastor, Gospel of Peace Ministry, Pastor Mike Adebayo, made the call while fielding question from the Daily Times correspondent, on Monday, in Ilorin.
He said that with a change of attitude there would not be a threat of life and property, one would sleep with two eyes closed, even without locking the doors of one’s house or installing security gadget at home.
Earlier, in his New Year message, Bishop of Saint Barnabas Cathedral, Rev Olusegun Adeyemi, also urged Nigerians to fear God, shun corruption and embrace peace.
He also urged government at all levels to make the citizens’ welfare a priority.
In his sermon, Adeyemi, urged Christian faithful to refrain from sin and embrace Jesus Christ, whose name is above every other name.
