Nick Cannon Sues Mariah Carey Selling $9 Million Home without His Consent
“America’s Got Talent” host, Nick Canon claims that his ex wife, sold their house for $9 million without his consent. He believes their business manager, Michael Kane, was dealing exclusively with the singer’s team, leaving him completely out of the deal.
According to nydailynews.com Nick’s problem is not with the sale of the home, but rather that he was blindsided by it. For now, the 34-year-old TV personality is requesting the funds be frozen until he can obtain a detailed accounting statement in order to determine how much he and Carey will get.
The couple, who married in 2008, purchased the mansion in April 2009 for $6.975 million.
The 3-acre estate includes the 11,750 square foot abode with 6 bedrooms, 6 full and 3 half bathrooms. Additionally, there are formal living and dining rooms, a double-height foyer, home theater, game room, recording studio, indoor basketball court and the Aspen Room, an entertainment lounge with a field-stone fireplace, full bar, backyard access and views of the Stone Canyon Reservoir.
