NFF Wades into Iheanacho’s Visa Hitch

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has moved swiftly to help Manchester City teen superstar, Kelechi Iheanacho, secure a visa and join up with the Nigeria U-20 team in Germany where they are presently in camp ahead of the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
It was reported that he is facing difficulties in trying to secure a visa to travel to Germany to join up with his colleagues in camp from his base in England, but recent reports suggest he will be in camp before the end of the week.
The NFF were alerted to the player’s plight in securing a Schenghen visa and as of yesterday took over the proceedings to secure him a visa from the hands of Man City.
Man City, in the views of the NFF, are not pursuing the issue with the urgency it deserve as obtaining a Schengen visa to travel to Germany shouldn’t take more than 48 hours and there are fears they want him to play in City EDS game this weekend.
