Newrest notifies shareholders of 100% exit from ASL Rwanda

The board of Newrest ASL Nigeria Plc, Nigeria’s aviation handling company said it has sold off its stake in ASL (Aviation Support and Logistics) Rwanda Limited.
The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) disclosed of this effect in the company’s publication signed by its secretary, LPC Solicitors.
The company stated that prior to the sale of its interest in the Rwanda-based company, the ASL Rwanda Limited was one of its three subsidiaries, adding that following the disposal of shares held in ALS Rwanda, the company seizes to be one of its divisions.
According to Newrest, the company in pursuant of its growth and development agenda will continue to seek and take advantage of profitable investment opportunities in the long term interest of its shareholders.
Newrest ASL Plc is listed in the transport sector of the NSE official list main board, and for the trading day closed Friday 22 September, 2017, close trade at N6.82 per share, a 52 week high, which ruled throughout last week from N6.50 as at September 15th.
The company as t last Friday had market capitalization of 4,323,880,000.00 and shares outstanding of 634,000,000
