‘Melaye should tender public apology to Sen. Oluremi’
Prior to the rift between Sen. Melaye and his counterpart Sen. Oluremi Tinubu which made them exchange words in the Senate chambers, Hon. Risikat Adegeye, in a statement said Melaye Should tender a public apology to Oluremi.
Hon. Risikat Adegeye, who is a commissioner in the Lagos State House of Assembly service commission said that “I strongly condemn Sen. Melaye’s rude, impolite, barbaric and unparliamentary comment and assault on Sen. Oluremi Tinubu and Nigerian women demand a serious apology.”
She stated further that Melaye’s intention is to fight Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. “He wants to fight our leader Asiwaju and not his wife. Asiwaju is a God sent to all of us including him. He is a second god to us all in our political party APC” she stated.
Risikat described Oluremi Tinubu as a complete gentle woman, a quiet person and someone to look up to, and she does not deserve such insult from anyone.
In the same vein, women in Kogi state are also demands that Sen. Oluremi apologises to Sen. Melaye which leaves everyone wondering who will take the bold step to apologise first.
