Mayweather hires $1,000-per-plate Chef
Unbeaten American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. has reportedly hired a private chef who charges $1,000 per plate to handle his meals as he prepares for his May 2 mega-fight against Manny Pacquiao.
It was reported that Quiana Jeffries, also known as “Chef Q,” is on-call anytime of the day for Mayweather.
“I am here for him any time; 24 hours, seven days a week. If he needs me at 3 a.m., I am there cooking up breakfast,” she said.
A video posted on Chef Q’s Instagram page shows Mayweather saying: “I’ve never had a chef like this in my life.”
“This is the best of the best. I don’t care where you’re at around the world. If you want her to cook for you, it’s $1,000 a plate. You know me, I’m getting a discount,” the American champion said.
Chef Q revealed that she doesn’t usually charge $1,000 per plate, but Mayweather “felt my dishes were worth that much.”
