Man in Police Custody Over Indecent Act As Partner Escapes Arrest
The Police in Delta State have announced the arrest of a man identified as Emmanuel Orji after he was reportedly caught in the act of same-sex practice with another man Akunne Innocent Abuchi now at large .
It will be recalled that the two secret lovers until May 5th 2023 were regular guests at a popular hotel in Delta State.
Akunne Innocent Abuchi and Emmanuel Orji were said to have been caught in the indecent and unlawful act by an unsuspecting hotel attendant who reported to the management .
An eye-witness at the hotel who pleaded annonymity, said the two males were caught in the act of gay practice by a room attendant who had gone to serve refreshments and was in complete shock when she heard very disturbing sounds of two males making out emanating from the room .
According to the eye-witness who curiously was unsure of what was happening, she invited the hotel manager who surprisingly walked in on the two males making out with each other in their room as they left door unlocked from the inside.
The two males, according to information made available, were ruthlessly beaten up and however dragged out by other angry people including customers in the hotel who were in complete shock to learn of the enormity of the sacriledge by the two males.
The manager, Mr.John Uche who spoke with journalists said he was informed of what was happening in one of the rooms and had to check in order to confirm the claims .
He said ” I was in my office on May 5th 2023 when all of sudden one of my workers hurriedly rushed into my office to inform me about two males who had earlier checked into one of the rooms.
“She( room attendant) said strange sounds were emanating from the room of two males which suggested they were secretly indulgiing in the unlawful gay practice and instantly called on the police before I went straight to the room where the two males were caught in the act” John added.
It was however understood that as efforts were made to drag the two males out of their room to the reception hall one of the two males, Akunne Innocent Abuchi escaped through an exit door at the hotel owing to the late arrival of the police.
Meanwhile, Emmanuel Orji was however handed over to the police who joined others in combing the entire community for the fleeing Emmanuel but to no avail.
A statement made available to journalists by the Delta State Command of the Nigerian Police said a man identified as Emmanuel Orji was arrested on May 5th 2023 in a remote hotel in Delta State after he was reportedly caught in homosexual practice with another man who is presently at large.

According to the statement, the gay suspect Emmanuel Orji would be charged to court for violation of the Same-Sex Prohibition Act following the completion of investigation into the case.
It further said efforts have been intensified by the police who are working in synergy with other security agencies including the local vigilante network to apprehend the fleeing Akunne Innocent Abuchi.
The fleeing Akunne Innocent Abuchi who hails from Anambra was born on November 12th 1982 and said to be residing in Warri, Delta State with his wife and two children.
