Man, 43, in court for allegedly stealing N150, 000

 A 43-year-old man, Sunday Ogunbadejo, on Friday, appeared before an Ikeja Chief Magistrate’s Court, for allegedly stealing N150, 000 cash.

The police charged Ogunbadejo with theft, under section 287 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2015.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The prosecutor, ASP. Victor Eruada, told the court that Ogunbadejo, committed the offence on Dec. 30, 2020 at No 9B, Baba Yusuf Close, Alausa, Ikeja.

Eruada said the defendant stole the N150, 000 cash, belonging to one Folashade Bamidele.

Chief Magistrate, T.O. Tanimola, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N50, 000, with one surety in like sum.
She adjourned the case until March 31, for further hearing. (NAN)
