Maguire complying fully with Greek police following his arrest

Harry Maguire is complying fully with Greek authorities following his alleged arrest while on holiday with his partner.
The club made this known on Friday morning.
Reports in Greece claimed the defender had been enmeshed in a verbal fray while away with his partner and friends on the Greek island of Mykonos. The club skipper is said to have been involved in a fight which led to his arrest.
Manchester United issued a statement following the reports:
“The club is aware of an alleged incident involving Harry Maguire in Mykonos last night. Contact has been made with Harry, and he is fully cooperating with the Greek authorities. At this time we will be making no further comment.”
Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s men are currently enjoying a two-week vacation ahead of the soon to kick-off 2020/2021 season.
The players have been restricted as to where they can holiday this summer due to the travel restrictions in place because of the pandemic. Greece is currently on the ‘safe to travel’ list, which would mean Maguire would not have to self-isolate when he returns to England. Â

The players are expected back at their Carrington training complex at the start of September to begin preparations ahead of the new term.
United was originally scheduled to kick-off the season at Turf Moor against Burnley, but having played deep into the semi-final of the UEFA Europa League, that fixture has been cancelled to give the players a little more time to rest. United will now play their first game against Crystal Palace at Old Trafford
The 27-year-old centre back was made captain by Solskjaer during the course of last season, and was important to United as they finished third in the Premier League to qualify for the UEFA Champions League. He played in all 38 domestic league games.
