This year’s theme “A Night of Thousand Sacrifices”, is a re-enactment of the biblical sacrifices rendered by King Solomon. Luli Concert 2017 also aims to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the founding of Celestial Church of Christ.

Speaking to our correspondent at a press parley in Lagos on Monday, convener of El-Berachah Worship Ministry, Mr. Gbenga Daniel-Adebayo explained that “Luli Concert seeks to create a medium to promote God’s word, worship and intercede via praises for the nation. The replay of King Solomon’s sacrifice as recorded in the Bible and the rewards is our vision for this year’s concert.”

Daniel-Adebayo noted further that “We intend to raise a-1000 man Choir to raise sacrifices of praises from the altars of our hearts”. Other artistes billed to perform at the concert are Sola Allyson, Kenny K’ore, Johnny Sourou (Benin Republic), Adedeji Adetayo (Greece), Bhodey Zannu (London), Seyi Solagbade, Kent Edunjobi, Imoleayo Akin Adebayo, amongst others.

The Luli Concert Team will partner with State agencies to ensure maximum security as well as free flow of traffic around the venue of the event. This year’s Concert also features a Music Masters’ Class for professional and amateur musicians on Wednesday, 20th September, to be anchored by Mr. Adedeji Adetayo from Greece; Contemporary Folk singer, Seyi Solagbade; and ace music producer Mr. Wolz, a Youth Pastor at Covenant Christian Center.
