Lobi still hunting for NPFL glory—Ogbeide

Lobi Stars head coach, Solomon Ogbeide has declared that his side still has an excellent opportunity of emerging champions in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) this season.
The Makurdi club currently occupy third place in the NPFL standings with 39 points from 25 matches.
Lobi Stars currently sit six points adrift of the leaders, Plateau United but Ogbeide says he expects his side to still challenge for the top prize at the end of the season.
“The race for the championship (title) is still very much open,” he told supersport.com.
“For me, the teams in the top-ten places on the table are still in it because the point’s difference between them is not very much.
“We (at Lobi Stars) are giving it our best shot as we hope to achieve something positive at the end of the season.
“And by the special grace of God, all we are working towards will be achieved,” he said.
Lobi Stars next travel to Bauchi to face Wikki Tourists on June 25 in their next NPFL fixture.
