Lagos PPP Office charged to focus on more capital projects

The Lagos State Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) Office has been charged to continually involve itself in more capital projects in the state.

This is according to the Special Adviser to the Governor on Parastatal Monitoring Office, Mr Afolabi Ayantayo, who led a team of a top government official to PPP office.

He also, said that the PPP Office should include the Local Government / Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in its area of supervision to avert shoddy capital project implementation in the state.

He promised to assist should any challenges arise in the process of implementing due processes in those areas.

He congratulated the Director-General of PPP Office, Mr Ope George and the entire staff of the organisation for maintaining a well-coordinated and conducive working the environment within the agency.

He said the visit was to further ensure a continual cordial relation with all offices under the Ministry’s purview for smooth activities in line with the implementation of the state government’s ‘’Themes’’ agenda.

Receiving the team at the conference room of the agency, Mr George expressed profound gratitude to Mr Ayantayo and his team, for making out time to visit the agency.

“We are most delighted to have you in our midst, we promise to further enhance our strategies in order to ensure full involvement in capital projects within the state as this will continually boost the implementation of the agenda of the state government,’’ he said.
