‘Kyari’s death huge blow to presidency, Nigeria’

Benin – A chieftain of the APC, Mr Peter Esele, has described the passing of the Chief of Staff to the President, Malam Abba Kyari, as a huge blow to the presidency and Nigeria.

Reacting to Kyari’s death in an interview on Saturday in Benin, Esele described Kyari as a quintessential public servant, who would be missed by all.
Kyari tested positive to the coronavirus on March 23 and was undergoing medication in a Lagos private hospital. He died on April 17.
Esele characterized Kyari as a deeply resourceful person, who provided unflinching support to President Muhammadu Buhari and his administration and served the nation with patriotism and passion.
“His death is a monumental loss to the nation because of his services to humanity and the nation.”
Esele, a former President of the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria consoled Kyari’s family, Buhari and the country at large, saying that Kyari lived a fulfilled life, having played his part with dynamism, character and compassion.
He said that Kyari’s death was another confirmation that Covid-19 was no respecter of persons or status, saying however, that death was inevitable for everyone. (NAN)
