Kogi West Constituents insist Melaye must go

Some constituents in Kogi West Senatorial District comprising seven local government areas have commenced in earnest the process of recalling Senator Dino Melaye from the National Assembly.

Senator Melaye recently called on the Kogi State House of Assembly to commence without delay the process to impeach the state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello over his alleged double registration in the ongoing voters’ registration exercise and other issues bordering on payment of salaries and pensions.

Senator Melaye is also alleged to be inciting the people of the state against constituted authority of the state despite all available opportunity availed to him to contribute his quota to the development of the state.

Melaye is also accused of disgracing his constituency and the entire state at the National Assembly by his unguarded utterances and comic actions as well as brutish behaviours as he was always engaged in physical fights on the flow of the honourable and distinguished National Assembly. He is also blamed for uttering scandalous and shameless statements in the comity of Nigerians.
