Kebbi: NDLEA nabs notorious drugs kingpin in Jega

The kebbi state commander of the national drugs law enforcement agency Sulaiman jadi,has said that his personnel through clandestine operations have arrested a drug kingpin in Jega local government area of kebbi state.
Sanusi Muhammed was arrested with 1,49kg of cannabis sativa at his Jega residence,his sub dealers are still at large, sanusi is in the custody of the command and is being detained and investigated.
Jadi added that as soon as the command concludes its findings sanusi will be charged to court for proper prosecution, he further said that the arrest made possible by members of his community who furnished his operatives with details of the kingpin worrisome activities in Jega town.
Jadi said drug sellers have evolved new strategy of using women both old and young to hoard hard drugs in their houses to escape arrest,to prove that two women were arrested with cannabis they hid in their homes, some of them on interrogation said they didn’t know it was cannabis but are nonetheless still in custody at the command,he called on parents to monitor their children’s movement and the people they mingle with.
