Katsina Utd bullish after draw with FCIU
Katsina United coach Bala Nikyu has said he is confident his team will hold their own back in the NPFL after they were forced to a 1-1 draw by hosts FC Ifeanyi Ubah (FCIU)in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday. Last week, Katsina United won the Nigeria National League (NNL) championship after they topped the Super 4 in Gombe. They took an early lead in Nnewi and seemed to be running away with a victory, before the Nigeria Federation Cup holders pegged them back with a late equaliser. Both teams will play a second friendly today.
