Juve concede defeat in Mascherano pursuit

Juventus have conceded defeat in their efforts to sign Javier Mascherano from Barcelona. The 32-year-old had been heavily linked with the Serie A champions, who will still bring in Dani Alves from the Camp Nou club. Mascherano has two years remaining on his Barca contract and is now set to stay with Luis Enrique’s men, with Juve moving on to other targets.
Musonda loaned to Betis again!
Chelsea’s Charly Musonda will spend next season on loan at Real Betis after the Blues decided to extend his stay with the La Liga club. The 19-year-old Belgian joined Chelsea from Anderlecht in June 2012 along with his elder brothers Tik and Lamisha. Since being moved to Betis in January on loan he has made 19 appearances for the Spanish club, scoring one goal.
Toulalan set for Bordeaux move
Jeremy Toulalan is set to move to Bordeaux after his request to be released by Monaco was accepted. Former France international Toulalan joined Monaco from Malaga in 2013 and had one more season remaining on his contract. However, the club from the principality agreed to the captain’s request for a move to Bordeaux, with the Nantes-born player citing a desire to move closer to his hometown.
