Ife mayhem: Arraignment of suspects postponed

The arraignment of the suspects arrested in connection with the recent clash between the Yoruba and Hausa community in Ile-Ife has been postponed.

The arraignment which was supposed to come up on Tuesday before Justice Kudirat Akano but was postponed till Wednesday.

This postponement to April 26 was due to the fact that the consent of the court was not taken before bringing the suspects to court.

It would be recalled that the commission of inquiry set up by the state governor, Mr Rauf Aregbesola to look into the causes of the crisis has already began its sitting.
