Gov Yari’s APC faction protests against Oshiomhole

The All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters loyal to Governor Abdul-Aziz Yari of Zamfara state have staged a peaceful protest against the leadership of the party’s National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
Daily Times reports that the demonstrators holding placards with inscriptions: “Oshiomhole Must Go”, chanting “we want change Oshiomhole”, passed through major roads in Gusau, state capital to the APC Secretariat situated along Eastern Bye pass.
Addressing APC officials at the Secretariat, chairman of the APC local government party chairmen forum, Alhaji Aminu Gamagiwa said officials of the party at local government and ward levels staged the protest against, what he described as bad leadership style of Oshiomhole.
“We are concern with the bad and undemocratic tendencies of the National Chairman of our party, APC, we wish to register our displeasure with his style of leadership”, he added.
He therefore, said APC supporters in the state have lost confidence in the leadership of the National Chairman, Comrade Oshiomhole.
“We in Zamfara state have no confidence in your leadership and therefore, are calling for resignation”, he added.
According to him, APC had witnessed unwarranted crisis under your watch, which is seriously affecting the progress of the party across the country.
APC Secretary, Hon. Sani Musa who received the demonstrators promised to intimate the necessary authorities on the demands of the protesters.
He said that was beauty of democracy where people can voice out their grievances on issues affecting them.
