Go home and rest, former APC Presidential aspirant tells Buhari

A former presidential aspirant under the All Progressives Party (APC) Chief Charles Udoka Udeogaranya has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to forget his aspirations to govern Nigeria again from 29th May, 2019 as he is totally unfit for such tasking job. Udeogaranya who defected from APC to the Peoples Democratic Party recently, was reacting to the President’s appearance and performance at the ‘Meet The Candidates,’ a live TV programme on the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) Wednesday night. He advised that rather than adding more stress to his already tired body and mind, Buhari should retire to his home town Daura and have his well-deserved rest. “An honest apolitical assessment of President Muhammadu Buhari performances at the ‘Meet The Candidates,’ a live TV programme on NTA would clearly underscore that President Buhari unfit to preside over the executive arm of government.
“Though there were some flashes of the real Buhari that occurred less than 30% of the time, however the inability to understand a mere simple question coupled with incoherent responses suggests that the old general has surrendered to nature and medical conditions and can only rely on intuition, relations and very old trusted friends to perform a simple mental task.
“The implication is that unknown people, unelected by Nigerians, are now in charge of the affairs of the country and criticism against the person of Buhari may now be unfair as nature coupled with medical conditions have set in,” Udeogaranya said. He pleaded with those pushing the president to continue with campaign for 2019 to think of God as they are rather punishing the man in order to satisfy their selfish interests and asked the president to ignore the hawks around him and go home. “I plead with Nigerians to be kind to President Buhari and save him from the harsh conditions of presiding over Nigeria again. Nigerians should use their votes next month to retire the old General to Daura, where he should enjoy his old age with his grandchildren, watching Tom and Jerry series on the Cartoon network.
