FUNDING AND EDUCATION ESSENTIAL INGREDIENT FOR CONFLICT RESOLUTION

The Institute of Peace and Conflict resolution is unveiling an infrastructure for peace 14P program as a way of tackling incidence or occurrence that could lead to conflicts like that in the North-East region of Nigeria. Stakeholders have been brainstorming on ways of avoiding the breakdown of law and order which inadvertently leads to crisis.

The Institute for Peace and Conflict resolution has unveiled the 14P program mechanism as a model for nipping crisis or impending crisis in the bud before they blow into unimaginable proportions like the Boko Haram insurgency, the Niger Delta crisis and at the world stage the Syrian crisis, Sudan.

Director General of the institute says for a long time peace has been taken for granted the country has always operated without an architecture for peace.
