Foundation lifts Methodist Church with medical equipment, medicals

The Methodist Theological Institute, MTI Chaplaincy Clinic, Umuahia Monday received hospital equipment and supplies worth millions of naira from Nwadinobi foundation.
The equipment donated by the foundation founded by A US-based medical Doctor, Chief Dr. John K. Nwadinobi includes orthopaedic mattresses, beds, clutches, walkers and various medical supplies.
Acknowledging the donations, the Rector of MTI, Very Rev. Okechukwu Ogba thanked Dr. Nwadinobi of the gesture, stating that he will be rewarded by God for his good works.
According to the clergy man, a member of the church and former Head of Service, Abia state Ms Ngozi Chikwendu had built and donated the clinic with a promise that she would bring her cousin to equip it.
This, he said had come to reality with Dr. Nwadinobi coming to equip the clinic, stating that though retired, God had continued o use Ms Chikwendu for the service of God and humanity.
Earlier in his speech while donating the equipment and medical supplies, the founder Nwadinobi Foundation, Chief Dr. John K. Nwadinobi said he feels satisfied giving back to the society, especially the church, assuring that he will do all he can for the Methodist Theological Institute, Umuahia clinic to blossom.
While promising to ship more hospital accessories and medical supplies, pledged to continue ensure that the clinic excels with the training of the clinic Physician, as well as to continuously update the clinic with the latest medical supplies and technology.
Also speaking, Dame Ngozi Chikwendu expressed her happiness that her cousin, Chef Dr. John K. Nwadinobi has fulfilled the promise he made and urged him to organize on constant bases, assistance for the clinic.
She expressed his belief that God will “align the clinic with the right personnel to convert the clinic intoi centre for spiritual and body healing centre”.
Dame Chikwendu (rtd) urged Dr. Nwadinobi to gather other philanthropists and come to the assistance of the clinic and “see what god will use the place to do”.
The registrar of MTI, his Director of programmes, Dean of students, chaplain, and the college nurse, Felicia Nwabunike among others were with the Rector during the occasion.
