First Bank promises customers convenient service with FirstMobile

First Bank Nigeria Limited, has restated its commitment to offering value-added services that suit the lifestyle of its customers through its FirstMobile application.

In a statement by the bank, made available to Daily Times at the weekend, First Bank stated that the mobile banking application FirstMobile is continuously revamped to boost convenience and ease of banking as well as enhance customers’ digital banking experience.

The bank said the application designed for the convenience of customers is part of the bank’s drive to leverage evolving technology in providing cutting-edge banking services to its over 10 million customer accounts across the world.

“As financial institutions across the globe tussle to increase their wallet share of customers’ pockets, it would take only ingenious and innovative institutions to satisfy consumer appetites for multi-channel transactions, as well as anticipate customers’ needs for reliable and safe solutions to meet their expectations.” The bank said.

First Bank of Nigeria Limited, Nigeria’s most valuable banking brand, stated that it has for over 120 years remained committed to offering value-added services that suit the lifestyle of its customers.

The Bank said it recently increased its maximum daily limit to N500,000.00 without the use of a token and a total daily transaction limit of N1,000.000.00.

The mobile banking app which is secure and easy to use, allows users to carry out banking transactions on the go from their mobile phones anywhere in the world.

The application; FirstMobile comes with a user-defined transaction pin which is an extra security feature and customers can also perform the following actions on the enhanced app: Change Transaction PIN, Reset Transaction PIN, Synchronize token, and change their log in pin – mPIN.

With the app, First bank assured customers of real-time mobile banking services such as domestic funds transfer from self-owned accounts to FirstBank accounts and other banks’ accounts.

According to the statement, Customers will also be able to make quick airtime purchase for self and others on all mobile networks; numerous bill payments; cheque services including confirm cheque and stop cheque; flight booking; and quick account services such as account balance inquiry, statement view and others.

The Bank said, FirstMobile as at December 2016, recorded a milestone in its user numbers with the attainment of 1million active users while over N1.3trillion transaction volume has been consummated using the FirstMobile app since its launch in 2015.

The bank noted that FirstMobile app is currently available for download on Google Play store, Blackberry World and Apple store.
