Femi Kuti spreads love in IDP camps
While most other musicians are jumping from one show to another, Femi Anikulapo-Kuti is busy touring Internally Displaced Persons camps in the North East.
In a humanitarian gesture that is aimed at putting smiles on the faces of the victims of the Boko Haram scourge in that part of the country, the Afrobeat musician appears to have temporarily set aside music for the visits.
Femi, in a message posted on his Twitter handle recently, indicated that he had gone to Adamawa State to continue with his “humanitarian work” in collaboration with the International Red Cross.
In January, he was in Maiduguri, capital of Borno State, on a similar mission.
