Federal Civil Service Commission disowns job recruitment advert
The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has distanced itself from an on-line job advert credited to the Commission, saying that it is not recruiting.
The online media since December 7th, informed the public of an existing job recruitment carried out by the commission and also gave out an online link where applicants can apply for the available vacant positions.
But, in a statement signed, Dr. Joel Oruche, the Deputy Director, Press and Public Relations, in Abuja, the commission attributed the announcement to online criminals and fraudsters, telling innocent job seekers not to fall prey to their plans.
According to him, the on-line recruitment advertisement purportedly published by the FCSC is not true and should be disregarded.
The statement reads, “The attention of the Federal Civil Service Commission has been drawn to a recent online advertisement of job vacancies by the Commission in the media.
“Members of the public are hereby informed that NO such advertisement emanated from the Commission.
“The Commission only advertises vacancies in the newspapers and on its website www.fedcivilservice.gov.ng.
“We wish to advise members of the public to always visit our authentic website for advertisement and any other necessary information from the commission.’’
