FAYOSE’S PERSISTENT SHOW OF SHAME WORRIES EKITI PDP IN U.K, SAYS FALEGAN

A United Kingdom (UK) based chieftain of the Peoples’ Democratic Party PDP (from) Ekiti State Hon. Opeyemi Falegan has berated Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayo Fayose over what he described as a “show of shame for a Governor to personally storm Bank to create scene in a bank.
The Ado Ekiti born PDP Chieftain who lamented how the behaviours of Governor Fayose used to give the Ekiti’s in U.K. concern particularly described as highly “embarrassing and uncalled for, the shameful behaviour of our Governor with his latest action”
Falegan in statement made available to journalists in Ado Ekiti yesterday said latest action of Governor Fayose which could best be described as “executive rascality displayed by the governor was when he personally stormed the Ado Ekiti branch of Access Bank to withdraw money from his controversial personal account frozen by the EFCC”.
The PDP Chieftain who described as as “worrisome the level of bad image the current leadership in Ekiti State is giving it on daily basis as a result of seeking cheap publicity and public sympathy as a way of covering up financial mess on the corridor of power”.
While beratiņg Fayose over the way he has been governing the state since he got to power in the state, the PDP chieftain, said “the public is not unawared of the level of deceit and malingeering being displayed in governance since the present administration took over in october 2014.”
He added that “The so called stomach infrastrcture which can be best described as a conduit pipe to siphon public funds is nothing but a ruse and People need to ask questions on the actual amount being expended on it by the governor.
“It will be amased the People that, the available information shows that, the governor is claiming more than fifty million naira every month from the government coffer as a fund to finance the scheme. The scheme which has not reached two per cent of the State population since the governor started it.”
According to him, governor “Fayose had claimed to have spent over one billion and five hundred million naira (1.5billion) on the scheme b ut despite that, the level of abject poverty and hungry in the State cannot be compared to any other State in the Country./
Falegan who lamented that that with at least, an investment of five hundred million naira in each of the three senatorial districts in the State on Agriculture, there will be abundant food on the Table of nearly all the People in the State, especially the common man, “but the Governor failed to do any of this things, yet he kept on claiming to be fried of the masses”.
“It is shocking to hear that, a State governor, Prof. Ben Ayande of Cross River State had anounced a forty per cent discount on rice during the yuletide season for the People of the State without unecessary and unending publicity like what is obtainable in Ekiti State.
“Governor Fayose should rather borrow a leave from Prof. Ayande on real governance and especially the plights of the electorate as against his deceptive nature of a-one-man-show of his administration in the Stateand stop discracing us.
“Ekiti People are not hungry and lazy ones as being portrayed them by the governor. Give an average Ekiti People wherewithals no matter how small it is, they are ever ready to maximise it and work to feed themselves and their family members.
“Hardwork, Honesty and Sincerity are some of the traits, Ekiti People are known and appreciated for world over, so it will be unacceptable for us to be seen as otherwise because of the activities of some of our leaders on the corridor of power”.Falegan added.
